Don E. Robinson

Energy/Minerals

Don Robinson represents energy and mineral development interests on the council.   Don has lived in California for over 35 years and has hiked throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  He has served on various committees and councils with the Forest Service, BLM, National Park Service and state agencies helping to establish mining and mineral policies for the Sierra Nevada range. 

Don studied business administration at Northeastern University and attends courses at Sierra College in mining, assaying, geology and computer sciences.  Don is a professional miner and mining consultant and owner of the Gold Fever Institute.  He is also the president of the Mother Lode Goldhounds, a non-profit organization for recreational gold prospectors.   He lives in Foresthill, CA.
