The BLM proposes to begin using a new wilderness permit system that will for the first time set limits on the number of overnight users in the wilderness areas and back country. The business plan details a new proposed overnight wilderness fee, and new fee schedules for developed campgrounds. All fees would be used in the King Range to maintain and improve facilities and services, increase law enforcement and fund programs focused on natural resource conservation and improvement.
