BLM Resource Advisory Council to Meet in Ukiah

The Bureau of Land Management’s Northwest California Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will hold a field tour and meeting Thursday and Friday, April 28 and 29, in Ukiah.

On Thursday, the group convenes at 8:30 a.m. at the BLM Ukiah Field Office, 2550 North State St., and departs immediately to tour the Indian Valley Management Area and Walker Ridge.  Members of the public are welcome.  They must provide their own transportation, food and beverages.

On Friday, the meeting runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Ukiah Field Office.  The council will hear public comments at 11 a.m. 

The 12-member RAC is comprised of citizens representing diverse public land interests.  They advise the BLM on the full range of its multiple use management responsibilities.
