|
The Bureau of Land Management’s Ukiah Field Office has lifted fire restrictions on public lands in Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Yolo, Colusa, Glenn and Solano counties. Outdoor enthusiasts can once again use campfires outside of developed campsites. A California campfire permit is required. “Even though fire dangers have decreased, we still ask that people be careful with fire any time they are outdoors,” said Jeff Tunnell, BLM fire mitigation and education specialist. Campfire permits are available at the BLM Ukiah Field Office, 2550 North State St., Ukiah. For more information call the field office at (707) 468-4000. |
