BLM Postpones Oil and Gas Lease Auction

The Bureau of Land Management has postponed an oil and gas lease auction scheduled for June 9 in Bakersfield.

The leasing of proposed lands, located in Monterey County, has been delayed in order to complete additional environmental reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act.  The next scheduled oil and gas auction is planned for Sept. 8 in Bakersfield.
