Mendo Lake Road Closed for Construction

A portion of the Mendo Lake Road west of Lakeport will be closed to all traffic from July 6 to August 20 for construction. The road will be closed from the Scotts Creek gate to Trail 17.

“The road will be graveled with six inches of crushed road base, compacted and chip sealed,” said Bill Dabbs, realty specialist in the Bureau of Land Management’s Ukiah Field Office.  The project will also replace failing culverts and reshape the road to limit erosion.
