BLM Northeast California Resource Advisory Council Meets July 9

A proposed Bureau of Land Management strategy for managing wild horses and burros on public lands will be discussed by the BLM’s Northeast California Resource Advisory Council when it meets Friday, July 9, at 10 a.m. at the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office, 2950 Riverside Drive in Susanville.
 
The council will accept public comments at 11 a.m.
 
The RAC will review and comment on draft goals, objectives and management actions contained in the proposed strategy that was released for public comments on June 3.  The BLM will consider the public’s input as it prepares the long-term strategy that will be presented in a detailed report to Congress later this year.
