Rainstorms Cause Closure of BLM Land at Briceburg

Rockslides caused by rainstorms have closed land along the Merced River at Briceburg managed by the Bureau of Land Management’s Mother Lode Field Office.

Bull Creek Road (Burma Grade) is closed from Briceburg to five miles north of the Merced River due to rockslides. The Merced River Campground Road closure is due to debris on road. Roads will be closed until further notice, said David Greenwood, BLM outdoor recreation planner.
