Marine Mammal Presentation Scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 in Whitethorn

North coast residents who want to learn more about animals that live offshore can attend a free presentation Tuesday, March 2, at 7 p.m., at the Bureau of Land Management’s King Range Office in Whitethorn.

Dr. P. Dawn Goley, of the Humboldt State University Biological Sciences Department, will discuss distribution of marine mammals of North America’s Pacific Coast.

The presentation is part of a winter-long series of lectures and hikes sponsored by the BLM’s King Range National Conservation Area.
