BLM Ukiah Field Office Announces Seasonal Fire Restrictions |

Fire season restrictions on campfires and off-road driving go into effect Monday, June 29, for public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Yolo, Colusa, Glenn and Solano counties. The restrictions are designed to lessen the danger of human-caused fires and will remain in effect until cooler weather reduces fire risk, said Rich Burns, manager of the BLM Ukiah Field Office. The restrictions:
Violation of the restrictions is punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and up to 12 months imprisonment or both. |
