News ReleaseFor Release: November 9, 2007 BLM Rescinds Emergency Closure of Public Lands In Eastern San Diego County The following areas are also open for public access: Buck Canyon, Ranchita CA; Chariot Canyon, Julian CA; Rodriguez Canyon, Julian CA; and San Felipe Hills, Ranchita CA. The public is reminded that campfires are still restricted to campgrounds only. The following year-round fire restrictions apply to all public lands within the California Desert District regardless of stage restrictions and are applicable year round. Prohibitions include:
