BLM Oil and Gas Lease Sale Scheduled for March 14, 2007
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will conduct an oil and gas lease sale in Sacramento on March 14 involving 17 parcels of land, covering approximately 14,720 acres, in parts of Colusa, Yolo, Fresno, and Monterey counties.
The lease sale will be at the Federal Building, 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, Calif. The sale room will open at 8 a.m. to allow bidders to register and obtain a bid number. The competitive oral auction will begin at 9 a.m.
A detailed notice of the lease sale with parcel descriptions, acreage, lease terms and conditions, oral bidding procedures and requirements, and other sale information is available online at http://www.blm.gov/ca/st/en/prog/energy/og/instructions/leasesale.html. Copies of the lease sale notice are also available for public review at the BLM State Office in Sacramento, the BLM Hollister Field Office and the BLM Ukaih Field Office.
