News Release For Release: Aug. 23, 2006 Bizz Johnson Bus Shuttle Service Set for Saturday, Sept. 2 A special bus shuttle for the Bizz Johnson National Recreation Trail near Susanville is set to roll Saturday, Sept. 2, providing hikers, runners and mountain cyclists with convenient transportation for one-way routes on the scenic mountain trail. The shuttle, with room for mountain bikes, departs the Susanville Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Rd., at 8:30 a.m. Participants should arrive a half-hour before departure to allow time for bike loading. The bus will stop at Devil's Corral, Fredonyer Summit, Mason Station and Westwood, providing options of using the trail for 7, 18, 25 or 30-mile return trips to Susanville. Fees range from $5 to $7.50, depending on the stop. The summer weekend shuttle service is a partnership of the Bureau of Land Management's Eagle Lake Field Office and Lassen Rural Bus.
