National Monument Advisory Committee Meeting in Palm Desert
Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Advisory Committee is meeting Saturday, September 9, at 9 a.m., in the Palm Desert City Council Chambers, 73-510 Fred Waring Dr., Palm Desert, Calif.
The public and media are invited, and encouraged to come to all advisory committee meetings. A "public comment" period offering opportunities to express and present topics of concern and interest to the committee begins at 11 a.m.
Individuals in need of special assistance, such as sign language, or other reasonable accommodations should contact the national monument staff by calling the Bureau of Land Management office at 760 251-4800, or via e-mail at: ca_srsj_nm@ca.blm.gov, allowing enough time to make appropriate arrangements.
If you have questions or need additional information abut the June meeting, please feel free to contact the monument manager or a member of the staff at 760-251-4800. The next scheduled national monument advisory committee meetings will be Dec. 2, 2006.
