News Release For Release: August 1, 2006 BLM Office to Temporarily Close While Moving to New Location The Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Needles Field Office is moving from its current location at 101 West Spikes Road in Needles to its new office located at 1303 South U.S. Highway 95 in Needles, just two blocks north of its current address. "We anticipate the move to affect the public for a little over a week," said Larry Morgan, BLM Needles Field Office manager. "After that we hope to be back to normal operations and look forward to serving our customers at our new location." The new 10,000-square foot office will offer improved facilities for the public and BLM staff. The BLM Needles Field Office administers 3.3 million acres of federal lands in eastern San Bernardino County. -BLM- California Desert District Office |
