BLM landscape photos featured at Western Wilderness Conference

The Bureau of Land Management sponsored a Friday-night reception during the Western Wilderness Conference held at UC Berkeley from April 8 - 11, 2010.  The reception featured a photo exhibition presenting 15, two foot-by three-foot landscape photographs of BLM wilderness areas, taken by the BLM's Bob Wick.  Here are samples of three of the photos:

Red and green lichens or moss on gray rocks overlooking a valley and mountains beyond
Skedaddle Mountain Wilderness Area (BLM Eagle Lake Field Office)

Yellow flowers are front and center, with two hikers along a path near a rocky beach
Hikers take a trail along the Pacific Coast in the King Range National Conservation Area (BLM Arcata Field Office)

Clumps of yellow flowers and blue flowers in the foreground, with a palm tree nearby and snow-capped peaks in the background
Owens Peak (BLM Ridgecrest Field Office)

Update 4/14/10: You can now download six of Bob Wick's photographs as wallpapers for your computer desktop.  Each is available in three resolutions (1280x1024, 1280x800 and 1024x768).
