Volunteer Program

Happy Boulders Trail Project

On November 4, Park Ranger Scott Justham and a small group of volunteers attended the BLM/American Alpine Club-sponsored "Coffee with a BLM Ranger/Happy Boulders Trail Project."  American Alpine Club provided coffee for the participants, while BLM provided tools and direction for maintenance of the Happy Boulders Hiking Trail.  BLM has worked with the American Alpine Club for about three years on cooperative ventures related to bouldering on BLM managed land in the eastern Sierra.
