 Off to a good start

An off-road enthusiast enjoys the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area over the recent Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The recreation area saw 165,000 visitors enjoy what Dunes officials called a very smooth weekend with no major law enforcement or medical incidents to report. The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is considered the busiest of the six holiday weekends throughout the Dunes season which runs from Halloween to Easter.
