Granite Launch award presented

The Granite Launch on the Lower Kern River in BLM's Bakersfield Field Office area, was selected by the States Organization for Boating Access to receive their 2007 award for Outstanding Project - Small Access Category (less than 25 cars capacity).  The organization's president, Terry Boyd presented the award last month at the SOBA national conference in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
