Human Resources Specialist
California State Office
After 21-plus years with the U.S. Air Force, Todd Morrow retired from the military and turned his attentions to completing further education and starting a new career. He already had an associate degree in personnel management, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. He was an air traffic controller in the Air Force and had achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant assuming superintendent duties, overseeing enlisted members' efforts to accomplish a major segment of a unit's mission. Todd completed studies for an advanced degree and received his master's degree in human resource management from Chapman University in early 2007.
Armed with school and work credentials, he re-entered government service with the BLM's California State Office, human resources branch, where he is involved in employee relations. He loves camping and outdoor activities, so he decided BLM was a good fit.
Another interest of Todd's is traveling and learning about different cultures. Todd is originally from Mena, Arkansas (population 5100), but while in the Air Force he worked in twenty-eight countries -- Germany, Turkey, Korea, Bosnia, Saudi Arabia and Croatia to name a few -- and spent more than 10 years overseas.
Todd met and married his wife Bonnie while in the Air Force. She is still in the service, stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. Todd and Bonnie have a daughter, Rayleigh born in April 2006. They live in Dixon.
