Horse packers The High Bridge Trailhead provides restrooms and day-use parking for both autos and horse trailers.

Getting there: The High Bridge Trailhead is located on the west side of State Highway 16, 4.5 miles south of Highway 20.

Access to the High Bridge Trail requires fording Bear Creek. During the rainy season, water levels can be high for up to one week after a large storm.
All vehicles must stay on gravelled or paved surfaces.
Between January and June of each year, there may be cattle in the area. Drive with caution.
