The Cowboy Camp trailhead offers a number of amenities for visitors: day use parking for both autos and horse trailers, restrooms, and a wildlife viewing deck. However, no potable water is available.
The Cowboy Camp Equestrian Campground is open from the third Saturday in April through the third Saturday in November each year.
Overnight parking is provided for equestrian use by both individuals and groups.
No reservations are required. All sites are on a first come, first served basis.
