The Cowboy Camp trailhead offers a number of amenities for visitors: day use parking for both autos and horse trailers, restrooms, and a wildlife viewing deck.
Overnight parking is provided for equestrian use - both individuals and groups.
Future developments will include high-line horse tethers, manure bins, picnic tables and fire pits.
No reservations are required. All sites are on a first come, first served basis.
Getting there: Cowboy Camp Trailhead is located on the west side of State Highway 16, one mile south of Highway 20.
