The Bureau of Land Management began round up operations October 15, 2011, to remove wild horses from the Bitner, Fox Hog, High Rock, Nut Mountain and Wall Canyon Herd Management Areas and adjacent lands outside of these herd management areas in northeast California and northwest Nevada.
