A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

This map depicts the locations of range improvements in the South Use Area of Walker Pass Common Allotment.  There are 21 range improvements in the grazing use area.  There are 1 spring, 3 wells, 1 pipeline, 1 syphon, 7 fences, 1 proposed fence, 2 corrals, and 5 cattle guards.  Many of the range improvements are on the edges of wilderness which covers 80 to 90% of the grazing use area.

This map depicts the locations of range improvements in the Middle Use Area of Walker Pass Common Allotment.  There are 39 range improvements in the grazing use area.  There are 10 springs, 1 well, 1 storage tank, 7 pipelines, 1 syphon, 10 fences, 4 corrals, and 5 stand alone cattle guards.  Several of the springs are within wilderness.

This map depicts the locations of range improvements in the North Use Area of Walker Pass Common Allotment.  There are 17 range improvements in the grazing use area.    There are 2 springs, 1 well, 3 pipelines, 1 aqueduct trough,  4 fences, 2 corrals, 1 stock trail, 1 loading chute, and 2 cattle guards.  Many of the range improvements are on the edges of wilderness which covers about two-thirds of the grazing use area.
