Redding Field Office

National Public Lands Day

National Public Lands Day

Each year, usually in October, the BLM-Redding Field Office hosts a National Public Lands Day event.  The most recent event was held along the Clear Creek Greenway.  Volunteers helped pick up trash, paint facilities, remove graffiti, and maintain trails in the area.  Afterwards everyone gathered for a free BBQ and some live music.

Check back here in the summer/fall of 2014 to see when and where the next BLM-Redding National Public Lands Day event will be held.  Once dates and locations are dermined, they will be posted on this webpage.

See some pictures of previous years' events below.

We hope you can join us to volunteer at the next National Public Lands Day.
