A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Advisory Committee

The next Advisory Committee meetings are scheduled on:

All meetings are open to the public and held in the County of Riverside Permit Assistance Center, second floor conference room, 38686 El Cerrito Road, Palm Desert, California. National Monument Advisory Committee meetings begin at 3:00 p.m. The Public Comment period is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.

Any individuals planning to attend who may need special assistance such as sign language interpretations, or other reasonable accommodations should notify a member of the national monument staff by calling 760 251-4800, or via e-mail ca_srsj_nm@ca.blm.gov at least two weeks prior to the meeting.

Any organization, association, or individual may file a statement with or appear before the committee and speak on issues which may be of importance to the MAC. On meeting days, a sign-in sheet wi provided just outside the conference room, so any speaker wishing to comment publicly may be recognized by the MAC Chair at the appropriate time. The national monument request all speakers provide a written copy of their comment for inclusion in the meeting minutes.
