Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains
National Monument Advisory Committee

The Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument invites you to submit a nomination application for any of 10 primary representative positions or twelve alternate representative positions on the Monument Advisory Committee (MAC). Members are appointed to three-year terms, except as described below, by the Secretary of the Interior with concurrence by the Secretary of Agriculture. The MAC advises the Secretaries through the Designated Federal Official (National Monument Manager) on issues related to implementation of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Management Plan, and operates in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act and the Committee’s charter.
