Clark Mountain/Crescent Peak Grazing Allotments

The Crescent Peak Allotment #9017 is an ephemeral/perennial allotment with potential forage production to enable the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to authorize cattle grazing on ephemeral forage when it meets threshold criteria and an established perennial forage allocation of 30 cows from March 1 through February 28 or 356 Animal Unit Months (AUMs). The allotment encompasses 6,870 acres, including private, State and BLM (public) lands. Public land administered by the BLM total 6,719 acres. The Crescent Peak Allotment is within the planning area of the Northern and Eastern Mojave Desert Management Plan (NEMO).

Your current authorization allows 125 head of cattle year long on 80% public land, or 1498 animal unit months (AUMs). The allotment encompasses 104,888 acres, including private, State, and BLM (public) lands. Public land administered by the BLM totals 98,360 acres. The Clark Mountain Allotment is within the planning area of the Northern and Eastern Mojave Desert Management Plan (NEMO).
