Tumey Hills Hiking

  The Panoche and Tumey Hills are under Fire Season Vehicle Restrictions from Mid-April to Mid-October. No motorized access is allowed during this period.

The Tumey Hills do not have designated trails; however, exploring this area on foot is allowed.  Running on the numerous backcountry roads supplies ample challenge, solitude, and adventure for runners.  For maps and more information about this area you can for an area brochure call us at (831) 630-5000.

To keep these lands wild and safe:
Park within 15 feet of the roadside
Stay on open, signed routes while driving
Routes are not considered open unless they are signed open
Bring plenty of water for your party and pets
