The Panoche and Tumey Hills are now under Fire Season Vehicle Restrictions. No motorized access is allowed from April 15 to the beginning of upland game bird season.
The Tumey Hills do not have designated trails; however, exploring this area on foot is allowed. Running on the numerous backcountry roads supplies ample challenge, solitude, and adventure for runners. For maps and more information about this area you can for an area brochure call us at (831) 630-5000.
Feel free to email our Outdoor Recreation Planners for more information about places to safely hike.
