 The Panoche and Tumey Hills are now under Fire Season Vehicle Restrictions. No motorized access is allowed from April 15 to the beginning of upland game bird season.

The Panoche Hills do not have designated trails; however, exploring this area on foot is allowed. For maps and more information about this area you can for an area brochure call us at (831) 630-5000.

To keep these lands wild and safe:
Park within 15 feet of the roadside
Stay on open, signed routes while driving
Routes are not considered open unless they are signed open
Bring plenty of water for your party and pets
Do not drive off of the road into the Wilderness Study Areas
