National Public Lands Day is a nationwide celebration where citizens can show their appreciation for public lands and parks, and lend a hand in improving their condition.
Each year at the National Public Lands Day / National Make A Difference Day event held at the Fort Ord National Monument, superstar volunteers and partners are recognized during the awards ceremony. In 2014, Eric Morgan, Monument Manager, recognized the contributions of Kay Cline, Amanda Royal, Stephen Neroda and John Bearshear for the contributions throughout the year. (BLM Photo)
