Please use caution in the intertidal zone and respect local regulations regarding access to the rocks, islands, and pinnacles of the California Coastal National Monument. Access to this rock is available through the Greyhound Rock Coastal Access point managed by Santa Cruz County Department of Parks, Open Space, and Cultural Services. Greyhound Rock is within the California Department of Fish and Game "Greyhound Rock State Marine Conservation Area" designated under the Marine Life Protection Act. This portion of the California Coastal National Monument is within the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary managed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
