Cosumnes River Preserve Farm Center Renovation

Project description:

Help spruce up and enhance the BLM's Farm Center at the Cosumnes River Preserve.

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) volunteers will help the BLM on a variety of projects including planting native plants, installing a drip irrigation system, weeding, pruning, refreshing landscape bark in the native plant gardens, completing the construction of a ramp for the mobility impaired, constructing retaining walls, tearing down an abandoned structure, building a well house, or building visual barrier fences around the dumpster and recycle bins.

There will be jobs for all ages and skill levels.

Event will be held at the Cosumnes River Preserve, 13501 Franklin Blvd., Galt, CA 95632.
