BLM El Centro Field Office to File California State Parks Grant Application

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), El Centro Field Office (ECFO) is submitting a grant application to the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVRD) to help manage off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation opportunities on public lands.  The ECFO is requesting funding for the following grant categories:   ground operations, law enforcement, and safety.
 
The public may submit comments on the preliminary application by accessing it on the OHMVRD’s website, www.ohv.parks.ca.gov, beginning Tuesday, March 4 through Monday, April 7.  The division’s website will provide detailed instructions for accessing the preliminary application and submitting comments.  Please note that comments must be submitted via email to both the OHMVRD and the ECFO.  Comments to the ECFO should be submitted to Neil Hamada, Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area Manager, at nhamada@blm.gov.
