Process

  1. The TRT will provide input to the BLM, El Centro Field Office.
  2. The TRT should strive to seek consensus when providing input to the BLM. (Consensus would give the BLM more helpful input compared to a split vote.)
  3. The TRT will appoint a Chairperson and a Vice-Chair.
  4. TRT will be a communication link to the public.
  5. The TRT will meet in person two times a year, once in a late July and once in late January (after the Martin Luther King Weekend). The budget will be an item of discussion in the July meeting. Two conference calls will be held per year, or more if needed.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Since there is no longer a need to formally tie the OHMVR Commission and Division to the TRT, there is no longer a need for an MOU. However, the BLM and the TRT will work cooperatively, as warranted, with the Commission and the Division.
