Hot Spring Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA)
Directions:
I-8(West from Yuma, AZ/East from El Centro,CA) to 115 North/Van Der Linden(Exit 131). East on Evan Hewes for 3.8 miles.
Hot Spring North located on north side of road. Hot Spring South located south on Holdridge Road. See map located at the bottom of this page.
Description:
Historic and still active hot spring attracts both local and winter visitors.
Facilities:
Vault toilets are located across the street from Hot Spring North. Dump station and water facilities located in Holtville.
Permits:
LTVA permits are required from September 15th through April 15th. There are two types of permits: long term and short visit. The long term permit is $180(U.S. funds only) for the entire season. A short visit permit is $40(U.S. funds only) for 14 consecutive days from date of purchase. Permits may be purchased on site or at:

During the off-season, April 16th through September 14th, visitors may stay for a maximum of 14 days within a 28 day period. There is no charge during this time.
Limitations:
Food, beverages, glass, soap/shampoo, pets and motorized vehicles are not permitted within the fenced-in area at the Hot Spring Spa.
Day use hours are 5 a.m. to midnight
The speed limit in an LTVA is 15mph unless posted otherwise.
Golden Access/Age/Eagle Passport discounts do not apply.
