Project Vitals Location: The project site is located in southeastern San Diego County, east of Jacumba and along Old Highway 80. Transmission Line: 138 kV Company: SDG&E Acreage: 10.4 acres of public lands Status: Record of Decision signed 8/21/12 Electrical Transmission Connection: The 138 kV transmission line would transmit electricity from the proposed SDG&E ECO Substation to the proposed SDG&E rebuilt Boulevard Substation. Public Comments During the 70-day public review period, more than 200 comment letters were received on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR). These comment letters and corresponding responses are presented chronologically and organized in the following categories: Public Meetings and Hearings The BLM and CPUC held two joint public informational workshop meetings on the project. 1/26/11, 7p.m., Jacumba Highland Center, 44681 Old Highway 80, Jacumba, CA Two scoping meetings were also held to solicit public comment on issues, concerns, potential impacts, alternatives, and mitigation measures to be considered in the preparation of the draft EIS/EIR.
