Electricity Production Capacity: 139MW Company: Campo Verde Solar, LLC Acreage: 1,443 acres of private land and 17 acres of BLM Land Status: Secretary Salazar Approves Transmission Line on 9/26/12 Electrical Transmission Connection: A 230kV would leave Campo Verde, crossing 1 mile of BLM land and interconnecting with the Imperial Valley Substation. Public Comments The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public comment on a proposed one-mile generation-interconnection (gen-tie) transmission line that would cross federal lands approximately eight miles southwest of El Centro, Calif. About 4/10 of the line would be on public land. Public comment on the proposed expansion will be accepted until May 13, 2012.
