Twin Peaks Herd Management Area
Take a tour of the Twin Peaks Herd Management area, the Bureau of Land Mangement's largest wild horse and burro management area in California. The 800,000-acre Twin Peaks Herd Management Area lies along the California-Nevada border northeast of Susanville.

Twin Peaks Gather Release of Wild Horses and Mules
BLM released 26 stallions and 7 male mules back into their home ranges.  The horses are being released back into their home ranges to ensure that the appropriate management levels are maintained on the Skedaddle home range.

A Tour of the Litchfield Corrals
Take a tour of the Litchfield Corral with Amy Dumas, BLM-California's Wild Horse and Burro Program Manager. The Litchfield Corral is a temporary holding facility covering approximately 80 acres with numerous pastures and corrals. See some of the wild horses and burros gathered recently from the Twin Peaks Herd Management Area in northern California and northwestern Nevada.
