When can I visit?
Currently the BLM is offering public visitation opportunities seven days a week. Please keep in mind that gather activities can change quickly. This webpage will be updated as needed. For the latest information call the local Twin Peaks Hotline at 530-252-5324 or for general information on the Wild Horse and Burro program, call 866-468-7826.
What are the procedures?
The BLM is committed to providing as much public access as possible, however, the Twin Peaks Herd Management Area is rugged and remote and public safety is our first priority. BLM staff will be available each day to escort the public into observation areas. Those wishing to participate must meet at the Litchfield Corrals no later than 6:00 a.m. Details are provided in the fact sheet.
