Ongoing Sale of Public Lands in Coachella Valley

Results of previous sale. On June 19, 2007, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) opened written bids submitted between May 28 and June 18, 2007.  BLM received 2 bids for parcel 51.  The high bid for parcel 51 was $120,010 and was submitted by CPV Sentinel, LLC.  BLM did not receive bids on other parcels in the land sale.  BLM will accept written bids for parcels on the REVISED PARCEL LIST as described below.

The sale will be conducted as a written sealed bid auction.  The sale will be ongoing, with BLM opening written bids the first Wedmesday of January, February, March and April of 2008.  Parcels that do not receive bids will remain available for bidding as described below.

BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 3:00pm March 3, 2008 TO BE CONSIDERED BY BLM March. 4, 2008.  

for parcels not receiving bids

BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 3:00pm April 1, 2008 TO BE CONSIDERED BY BLM April 2, 2008.

 

WHERE: Bids must be submitted to the BLM's California Desert District Office in Moreno Valley, California.  See Bid Instructions below.

MINIMUM BID:   The minimum bid for each parcel is the fair market value as determined by an approved appraisal.  Minimum bids are shown in the Final Parcel List.   Please refer to the Fair Market Value/Minimum Bid column for each parcel.
