Alabama Hills Community Spirit Day!

WHAT VOLUNTEERS WILL DO:  We will be cleaning up the Alabama Hills in anticipation of the Lone Pine Film Festival on October 10th thru the 12th.

WHEN: Saturday, October 4th, 8 a.m. sharp!

WHERE: Meet at the McDonalds of Lone Pine. After a satisfying breakfast provided by McDonalds, we will head up to the hills and spend 3 hours sprucing up the public lands for the film festival.

HOW TO VOLUNTEER: Show up at McDonalds at 8 a.m. sharp. Dress casually - comfortable shoes, gloves, hat, sunscreen. BLM will provide tools, trash bags and drinks.

Eastern Sierra Region – Native Plant Sale

WHAT VOLUNTEERS WILL DO: plant demonstrations, restoration project information and sign-ups for various planting projects in fall.

WHEN: September 27, 2008

WHERE: Deepest Valley Native Plant Propagation Center
