Bishop Field Office

Campgrounds

Campground rehabilitation project will continue into 2012

Goodale Creek, and Horton Creek campgrounds are currently closed for the 2012 season. Goodale and Horton should open later in the summer.  Please check back for updates.  Tuttle is OPEN.   Crowley Lake Campground is open and will re-close July 9th to continue construction.  These closures will allow workers to continue installing tables, fire rings, restrooms and other amenities, and complete the construction projects. Refer to each campground page for specific information on water and dumpstation availability.

Long Term Visitor Permits will be offered for the 2012 season.

BLM realizes the temporary loss of camping in your favorite sites will be an inconvenience; however we hope that when the improvements are made and the campgrounds are reopened you will appreciate and enjoy the new updated changes.

For campground updates and information please contact Jeff Yanez at 760-872-5026 or Becky Hutto at 760-872-5008, Monday through Friday.
