Horton Creek Campground
Campround Host Positions Available BLM is currently looking for Campground Hosts for all Bishop Field Office campgrounds. For more information please contact Becky Hutto, Park Ranger at (760) 872-5008. Elevation - 4,975 ft. Campground is located on an alluvial fan, next to Horton Creek with an outstanding view of Mt. Tom and Wheeler Crest in the Sierra Nevada Range. Nearby is the Tungsten Hills. Wintering deer herds often graze in the early spring. Plenty of opportunities for exploring, hiking, sightseeing. Closest amenities are in Bishop (12 miles).

Directions: US Hwy 395 north, 8.5 miles to Sawmill Road. Turn left (south) onto Sawmill Road and then take an immediate right (west) onto Round Valley Road for 3 miles. Follow sign to campground.
