Crowley Lake Campground

Crowley Lake Campground is now closed for reconstruction. This project will continue into 2012.  The campground will open for fishing season opener and remain open until July 5th.  It will then close to finish re-construction.Thermometer graphic showing 70% completion

Current completion status as of 10/26/2011:

  • Vault Toilets have been installed
  • Well and tank installed
  • Tables and firerings installed
  • Lantern holders installed

This campground offers stunning views of Crowley Lake and the Glass Mountains to the east.  To the west is the Sierra Nevada mountains and McGee Mountain and Canyon.  Popular activities include lake and stream fishing, boating, windsurfing, horseback riding, hiking, and wildlife viewing.  Crowley Lake and the Town of Crowley Lake are approximately 2 miles away.  The Town of Mammoth Lakes is approximately 10 miles away.  Campground facilities were fully updated during the summer of 2011.

BLM is currently looking for Campground Hosts for all Bishop Field Office campgrounds for the 2012 season.  For more information please contact Becky Hutto, Park Ranger at (760) 872-5008.

$5.00/night per site, Long Term Visitor Area permits accepted

Directions:

US Highway 395 to Crowley Lake exit. Proceed west through the Crowley Lake Community for 2 miles. Turn north (right) at Crowley Lake Drive and proceed for 2 miles. Follow sign to campground.
