Sage-grouse and Sagebrush Conservation

The Bishop Field Office manages about 500,000 acres of sagebrush steppe on the western periphery of the Great Basin.

Much of this "Sagebrush Country" provides important habitat for greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus).
