Campfire Safety Tips

Contact authorities for current fire danger information.

Do not build fires on windy or hot, dry days.

Build campfires in an area cleared of flammable materials.

Keep campfires small and away from trees, tents, and vehicles.

Know and observe all wildland fire regulations.

Keep a shovel and water handy.  Use these to extinguish the campfire so it is cool to the touch before you leave.
