Project Vitals

Proposed Location: starting 6 miles east of Barstow, San Bernardino County, California, running south from the Coolwater to Lugo substation parallel to the Los Angeles Department and Water Power Transmission corridor, Statute Route 247, and Southern California Edison’s Lugo-Pisgah Transmission Corridor

Technology: combination of 500/220/115/12 kV and substation on BLM-administered public and private land

Company: Southern California Edison

Acreage: Approximately 180 acres public and 764 acres private

Status: Application filed on June 19, 2012 and public outreach ongoing

Public Workshop

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Southern California Edison will conduct a joint public workshop on the Coolwater Lugo Transmission Line project to allow the public an additional opportunity to discuss the project.

The workshop will be held on September 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center located at: 12603 Mariposa Rd, Victorville, CA 92395.
