Total of naturally (native) growing giant sequoias on Case Mountain is 14,465 trees

Plantation sequoias were planted on private property in 1988 with stock originating from the Mountain Home Sequoia Grove. There are 1174 hand counted plantation trees located in four different planted areas. Two of these areas are located outside any sequoia grove unit boundary while there are plantations within the boundaries of the Monache Tubs and Salt Creek Ridge units. These trees were not counted as Case Mountains native sequoias. They are very vigorous in appearance as a whole.
