Public Tour of Piedras Blancas Light Station
TOUR INFORMATION
Public tours of the Piedras Blancas Light Station are offered
September 1 through June 14
on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10 a.m.
From June 15 through August 31 tours are offered Monday - Saturday at 10 am.
There are no tours on federal holidays.
Tours last 2 hours and feature the historic lighthouse, support buildings,
wildlife, plants and spectacular coastal scenery along an easy ½ mile interpretive trail.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress warmly. Please no pets!
Small children should be carried or placed in a stroller
Meet at the former Piedras Blancas Motel,
located 1.5 miles north of the light station.
Arrive at the motel 20 minutes before the tour, (9:40 am).
Do not wait at the gate to the lighthouse!
The price is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 -17, no fee for children 5 and under.
Reservations are NOT required for tours of less than 10 people.

Piedras Blancas Light Station Outstanding Natural Area is pleased to announce a Twilight Tour on Saturday, February 18th. Tour times are 4:45, 5:00, 5:15, and 5:30 and last 2 hours. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled time of the tour.
The fee is $15 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, and no fee for age 5 or under. Pay when you arrive.

The Twilight Tour will be in celebration of the 137th birthday of the lighthouse. It will feature guides in period attire, historic enactments, and sunset viewing. Meet at the Piedras Blancas Motel 20 minutes prior to your tour time. Call now to reserve a spot on this very special tour.
