A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

TOUR INFORMATION

Tours of the light station are offered 
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, except Federal Holidays.

Meet at the former Piedras Blancas Motel, located 1.5 miles north
 of the light station, at 9:45 and depart promptly at 10:00.

 Do not wait at the gate to the site!

Prices effective June 1, 2009:
Adults $10, children age 6 -17 $5, under age 5 are free.

Tours last about 2 hours and include the historic lighthouse, support buildings, and 1/2 half mile interpretive trail. 
Dress warmly and wear comfortable walking shoes. No pets!

Tours are subject to cancellation on the day of the tour due to rain, high winds, or other factors affecting the health and safety of visitors.
